By using psychological surveys and transforming data into participatory visual systems, the project shifted research from static, on-paper analysis to immediate, experiential insight. This made psychological inquiry more transparent, human, and emotionally legible.

What does socialisation make you feel?

Participants chose one of three responses:

• Energised – gain energy from social interaction

• Drained – enjoy socialising but feel exhausted afterward

• Neutral – experience no significant change

Each response was assigned a colour:

• Pink – Energised

• Green – Drained

• Grey – Neutral

Participants placed a sticker representing their answer on an An 8×8 ft panel in the designated area.
As responses accumulated, faces visually representing “energized” and “drained” states appeared.

This led to conversations around the existence of these states and the amount of people belonging to each state.

Each expression gets clearer and more defined only when more people select it.
